Birth Planning & Virtual Doula Services
Total Investment: $325
This personalized service is lovingly referred to as the “Everything but the Birth" service.
This service option is ideal for families who want the education and support from an experienced doula, but do not necessarily want the extra support person physically present during labor/birth. The prenatal meeting for this service is offered in-person for local families and virtually for clients that live outside of the Inland Northwest.
Sit down for a three-hour+ prenatal meeting to:
- discuss and discover what your ideal birth entails
- review what to expect during labor and birth at your delivery location
- create a customized birth preference plan
- learn how you can optimize comfort during labor
- plan how to create a safe, comfortable, and calm atmosphere for your labor and birth
- receive guidance on how to obtain a breast pump (via insurance, out-of-pocket options, or local organizations)
- explore your plan for the postpartum period
Labor and birth support:
- 24/7 on-call labor support throughout your pregnancy. You will receive continuous, compassionate guidance as you prepare for and move through labor.
- virtual support during labor. This may include advocacy guidance, additional education to support informed choices, comfort technique suggestions, and positioning tips to encourage labor progression. You will have peace of mind knowing you have a designated doula to help you remain calm, prepared, and confident!
Receive up to 9 weeks of virtual postpartum support to:
- process the birth
- discuss how the adjustment period is going
- access referrals as necessary (pelvic floor therapy, mental health support, lactation consultations, etc.)
Have full access to a library of books covering topics related to:
